2008 Team Canada Roller Hockey

National Inline Hockey Association - Canada released the NEW JERSEY DESIGN that Team Canada will be wearing this summer at the IIHF Men’s World Inline Championships in Karlstad, Sweden.

Along with Jango Sportswear, the Official Jersey of Team Canada, the NIHA-Canada crew has been sifting through many designs to find the design that will represent our country as best as possible when we line up against the world.

This marks the 3rd time in as many seasons that Team Canada is attending the IIHF World Championships and the second year in Top Division.

“We felt going into the 2010 tournament that our red and white jerseys needed to be the similar design as we build on the tradition of great Canadian hockey jerseys,” explains Scott Hill, VP High Performance. ” We gave Randy Stiles and his crew at Jango Sportswear some guidelines and they basically ran with it, offering us many designs over the past few months. With a little tweaking here and there, we think we found a great fit and a great look for our team as we reach for the podium in 2010.”

Executive Director, Nathan Fleck added, “The Canadian hockey jersey is iconic and we felt that with this Jango Sportswear custom design we’ve added to the history of great jerseys while putting our inline hockey twist on it. We’re proud to have Team Canada wearing the red and white for us while representing the 10,000+ inline hockey players in our country.”

The Official 2010 Jerseys are for sale on the NIHA-Canada online store - make sure to customize yours as you cheer on Team Canada June 26 - July 4th during the IIHF World Inline Hockey Championships!
